Luann Purcell Jennings is a theater director and arts administrator, educator, and advocate, currently serving as the Director of Arts Ministries at Redeemer Presbyterian Church (NYC). She moved to NYC in 2002 for coursework in the Meisner Technique of actor training and to join the staff at Redeemer, after spending a dozen years working in the Atlanta, Georgia theater community as the founding artistic director of a family and youth-focused theater, an acting instructor, and a freelance director. Luann is also an adjunct theater faculty member at St. John’s University, and lives with her husband Chuck, a jazz guitarist, in Queens, New York, the most culturally and ethnically diverse county in the United States, with the restaurants to prove it.

Canadian baritone, Sung Chung, recently made his COC mainstage debut in the role of Kutusov’s Adjutant in Prokofiev’s War and Peace. He created the role of Minik in Linda Caitlin Smith’s Facing South, which had its world premiere at the World Stage Festival in Toronto. Other performances include: the baritone soloist in Stravinsky’s Le Renard in Clermont-Ferrand, France, marking his professional European debut; Sid in the 50th anniversary production of Albert Herring at the October Britten Festival in Aldeburgh, England; Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro in Koice, Slovakia; and he was a soloist in the Banff Summer Arts Festival production of the operas of Georges Aperghis. Originally from Winnipeg, Mr. Chung received his diploma in Operatic Performance at the University of Toronto before completing his Masters in Opera at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland.
