What: The End Poverty Concert was started in April, 2006 in Mississauga, Ontario by a group of high school students. We were trying to make a positive impact in our world by doing the World Vision 30 Hour Famine at churches & in local high schools, and wanted to end the 30 hours of fund raising & not eating with a concert.
Over the past few years we have witnessed thousands of people join us to be part of the movement and enjoy featured bands like Faber Drive, illScarlett, and Sydney.
This year, the show will be even bigger, and will feature 5 bands: Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar, Turn Off The Stars, Kiros and Late Night Sanity.
The proceeds from the concert are donated to World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine, so that they can build better lives for children & their families all over the world who are living in extreme poverty.
When: April 25 5:30pm
Where: Hershey Centre. 5500 Rose Cherry Place, Mississauga
